The BVM 5700 represents Doosan's latest premium class VMC, offering both high speed and high precision machining in a rugged and compact bridge frame structure. Designed for those who demand more from their 3-axis VMC, the BVM 5700 offers numerous high-end appointments normally found only on exotic machine tools. Among these features are a built-in 15,000-RPM spindle, ball nut cooling and spindle thermal displacement control with multiple sensors strategically placed around the machine to compensate for heat generated by machining. Optimizations to the accel\decel of the axes drive system, spindle, and ATC reduce non-cutting time to a minimum for outstanding productivity.
